Outreach
Along with being an excellent introdution to the various disciplines of theatre, New Edgecliff’s educational outreach workshops can be modified to enhance elements of your curriculum. This program flexibility allows us to modify any of the basic workshops outlined in this brochure to suit your class needs. If you’re covering a specific play or novel, for example, simply speak to our Educational Director and we’ll create a curriculum-specific workshop just for you!
We know from post-show talkbacks that theatre is a powerful learning tool, and now our outreach workshops bring the elements of theatre into your school, library, or wherever, getting your class excited about ELA, social studies – even science and math! These programs get students out of their chairs and onto their feet! Students will not just be learning, they will be DOING.
For a more in-depth theatrical experience, high school and college students are invited to visit our Intern Program page!
